Regent Valuers International (K) Limited is the valuation arm of Regent Group. It has extensive experience in valuation work throughout Kenya and has carried out assignments for reputable clients within the region. The company is on the valuation panel of several banks and financial institutions in Kenya (See the list below). Regent is able to implement instructions expeditiously using our highly qualified members of staff. We have provided staff resumes for your information.
Whilst the company mainly undertakes instructions for rental, mortgage, sale, purchase, asset/book value and probate, we regularly carry out larger instructions, details of some of which are provided below. Additionally, Regent Valuers International (K) Limited has in hand, and has completed, a number of major valuation projects both as members of a team, in joint venture with other consultants, and on its own, within Kenya and the East African region.
Types of Valuation Undertaken By Regent Valuers Int’l (K) Limited At Regent, we do Open Market Valuation for the following purposes: - Mortgage Purpose: This is done to asses value of property to be used as collateral for loans.
- Sale/ Purchase: This is done so as to advice the client on the best or fair sale/ purchase price of a given property.
- Insurance Purposes: This is done to advice on the Insurance value of a given property.
- Rental Assessment: This is done to find out the fair market rent that can be fetched from a given property.
- Book Purposes: This is done so as to get the value for record purposes.
Apart from these, we also provide the following services related to Valuation:
Asset Tagging & Coding; This is done when a company wants to identify its assets and equipment.
Investment Appraisal; This acts as a basis for decision making on the highest, best use and viability of a given property or investment.
Our valuations meet international standards as interpreted both by the International Valuation Standards Committee and the guidelines produced by the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya.
Our reports are designed so that they can be used for reference at a future date and desktop updates can be provided upon request. Our property professionals are available to discuss each report and, where necessary, can assist in creating an understanding of the data provided in our reports.
